Bridges: When one or two adjacent teeth are missing, one solution to restoring the look and function of those teeth is a fixed partial denture, commonly called a bridge. A false tooth called a pontic is shaped to replace the lost tooth, and is permanently attached to the healthy teeth on either side of the missing tooth. Bridges are an excellent way to maintain your natural appearance, prevent other teeth from drifting out of place, and enable you to speak and chew food normally.
